NDI New Mexico
NDI New Mexico is a nonprofit that helps children develop discipline, a standard of excellence, and a belief in themselves through dance education. They offer public school programs, after school classes, and summer camps. In Spring 2023 we’re collaborating with them to offer a Breaking Hip Hop class after school at ZFFC.
Explora
Explora is an innovative experiential learning center located in the heart of Old Town Albuquerque. Explora offers interactive exhibits where people of all ages can learn about science, technology, and art. They also provide provide semester long science programs and seasonal camps. Since 2021 we have collaborated with Explora to offer a STEM Lab class at ZFFC.
Kids Cook!
Kids Cook! is a multicultural nutrition and food education program. They provide hands-on experiential learning for elementary and middle school students and their families. They strive to inspire families to bond over cooking and eating together, to be more physically active, and to share their knowledge with their communities. We collaborated with Kids Cook! to offer cooking camps over the summer and recent day camps.
Color Wheel Toys
Color Wheel Toys is a local toy store that specializes in educational, creative and art-based toys and games. They have items that appeal to people of all cognitive abilities and they reuse/recycle whenever possible. We collabortated with founder and owner Keri Piehl to offer a summer camp called The Science of Art. Students explored science concepts through a wide variety of colorful and creative activities.
